MCC grows with addition of Max Winograd

Max Winograd has joined MCC as senior vice president, Smart Packaging Solutions (RFID), effective February 16, 2026.

Smart packaging and RFID technologies have long been part of MCC’s offering. As global demand accelerates, they are becoming increasingly central to how MCC creates value and delivers differentiation for its customers. Building on the foundation of its Starport business and its established RFID capabilities, MCC is expanding its focus on scalable, integrated Smart Packaging Solutions that help customers enhance visibility, efficiency, and performance across their supply chains.

In his new role, Winograd will lead MCC’s Starport business and broader RFID portfolio. He will be responsible for setting the vision, driving the strategy, and advancing innovation across the Smart Packaging Solutions platform. His work will include expanding RFID capabilities across markets and regions, strengthening operational performance, and accelerating the development of next‑generation solutions for customers worldwide.

About Winograd

Winograd brings more than 16 years of experience scaling smart, connected technologies across packaging and supply chain environments. Most recently, he served as vice president, Digital + Hardware Innovation, Avery Dennison. There, he led global teams developing RFID‑enabled hardware and software solutions representing more than $100 million in annual revenue. His expertise spans commercializing emerging technology, integrating complex organizations, and translating innovation into sustainable, profitable growth.

Earlier in his career, Winograd co‑founded and led a venture‑backed packaging technology company, held senior leadership roles across RFID and digital product platforms, and built new business capabilities within a global manufacturing environment. He is widely recognized for his ability to pair entrepreneurial thinking with strong operational and team leadership.
